Ivo Andrade, (Trancoso, 1984 – PT)

Graduated in Fine Arts at ESAD.CR (Caldas da Rainha - PT) in 2007 and in Landscape Architecture at UE (Évora - PT) in 2022.

He was an ERASMUS fellow at ESAD.SE (Saint Étienne-FR) in 2005, winner of the BES Revelação (PT) photography prize in 2007 and winner of the ArchiNature prize (Reguengos de Monsaraz-PT) in 2022.

He has been exhibiting their work since 2006, having participated in several residencies and artistic creation projects, being represented in public and private collections in Portugal and abroad.

In his work, he incorporates the use of different disciplines and materials such as photography, drawing, painting, video, installation and site-specific projects, working on concepts of infinity, vacuity, the human condition and issues linked to ecosystems and ways of life synchronized with nature and their cycles.
